Admission to LVPA is based solely on the audition process or portfolio review conducted by LVPA’s professional staff. Our students represent nine counties in Eastern Pennsylvania and over forty-five separate school districts.
Students residing in Pennsylvania, entering 9th, 10th or 11th grade are eligible to audition in one of our six artistic majors: Dance, theater, figure skating, instrumental music, visual art and vocal music.
Open House Dates for
2012 / 2013 School Year
Four Open House events are held prior to auditions for families to tour our school, meet the staff and learn about LVPA’s rigorous artistic and academic programs. We encourage all students interested in applying to LVPA to attend an Open House night. As important as learning about LVPA’s programs is learning about the unique culture of the school and making sure LVPA is the right place for you.

Prospective students are encouraged to schedule a day of shadowing an LVPA student in the artistic program of their choice prior to auditions. We feel strongly that students need to be prepared for LVPA’s unique school schedule and rigorous expectations.

Auditions require an appointment made with our Registrar, Ann Marie Squerrini at 610-868-2971 ext 137. Mrs. Squerrini begins scheduling auditions after November 15th.
Shadowing is scheduled through Mrs. Gehman in the front office at 610-868-2971 ext 124.
