Charter Arts Foundation - Just another Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Sites site

Charter Arts located in south Bethlehem will help advance the redevelopment efforts of the diverse and exciting community. There will be significant positive impact of having up to 650 students at the school regularly from 7am to 3pm every weekday, 200 of whom will participate in after school rehearsals and other activities. Their families will be involved during the day as well, transporting students to and from school and participating in parent support activities. Families and friends will also be visiting south Bethlehem between 5pm to 9pm for performances. With a projected 60 annual events at the new 350-seat performance venue, and an estimate of more than 20,000 visitors to the neighborhood each year, there will be a need for restaurants and retail establishments to meet the increased consumer demand of these new visitors to the community. All of this activity will support the economic revitalization that has been ongoing in south Bethlehem.
