Genao, Mary — World Languages Faculty- Spanish

Sra. Genao joined Charter Arts in January 2015.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Temple University and is working towards a Master of Education at East Stroudsburg University.  She has studied and lived in Mexico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, and most recently completed a Spanish faculty development course in Salamanca, Spain, in the summer of 2016.  Prior to entering the field of education, she spent a decade as an international flight attendant traveling the world, using her Spanish language skills, and immersing herself in the culture of the people that speak it.  She is excited to bring these experiences and her enthusiasm for foreign language education to her students. Xu laoshi was born and grew up in the Republic of China. Today, Xu laoshi holds an associate degree in the study of Japanese language/Japanese business, a bachelor’s degree in education/mathematics, and a master’s degree in education as well. Xu laoshi was a teacher of various levels of Chinese language & Chinese culture for students in Pittsburgh area. READ MORE
