ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Summer Academy is a program of arts enrichment workshops and day camps in art, music, dance and theatre. A participant does not have to be a current student at Charter Arts to attend, the workshops are open to the community.
There are workshops for middle school students and high school students, ages 9-16.
Comedy Improvisation Workshop
Do you love “Who’s Line is it Anyway”, or value the skills of comedy improv troupes like Second City in Chicago (where many SNL legends had their start), Groundlings in LA or ComedySportz in Philadelphia, then don’t miss this exciting workshop. Comedy improvisation skills are not only imperative for auditions and roles that require comedic timing, but these skills are also highly respected by casting directors, agents and directors.
Open to teens entering 8th-12th grade
