Katharine Krieg graduated from Mansfield University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education. She continued her education at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and Chester Springs Studio with studies in Drawing, Painting and Portraiture. She also trained in the studio of Philadelphia based artist Carlo Russo. During her time as a professional fine artist, Ms. Krieg has held several solo shows, achieved signature membership in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, was an invited presenter for various colleges and art organizations and a juror for the Philadelphia Sketch Club’s Annual Works on Paper Exhibition. Her work can be found in collections and galleries throughout the United States. She enjoys travel and teaches workshops in plein air painting each summer on the island artist colony of Monhegan Island, ME.
