Give to LVPA
LVPA opened in 2003 offering high school students passionate about the arts a place of their own to create and develop into young artists and thinkers. LVPA is the only performing arts school in the region and attracts young people from a twelve-county range encompassing over forty-five separate school districts.
Charter schools in Pennsylvania operate on a formula of 75% of funding received in the home school district through state, federal funding and local taxes. This formula provides almost $2 million less in funding to LVPA than a traditional public school. Funds raised through the LVPA Development Department provide resources for our school that serve all artistic and academic departments. Most importantly giving to LVPA supports the school’s ability to help each student live up to their creative potential and prepare for a successful future.
Contributions are raised through our Annual Fund Campaign, school-wide performances, an annual Gala Celebration, and contributions from foundations, businesses and individual donors.
Please make a gift to LVPA today and give according to your means. All donations are gratefully accepted and help sustain and support the growth of our institution. Your monthly commitment to LVPA maximizes our ability to continue offering innovative programs, and allows LVPA to offer more opportunities for our students and school. If your employer offers a matching gift program, please forward forms to LVPA and increase the value of your donation.
