Monday, December 7, 2020
6:30-8:00 PM/ Virtual
Fee: $25

Kathy Wickline, the owner of Kathy Wickline Casting in Philadelphia, with over 30 years of experience and more than 10,000 casting credits is nothing short of an industry legend.  As one of the first casting directors in Philadelphia, she is known for her work on such legendary films as “Witness” with Harrison Ford, and “Philadelphia” with Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks.

She brings her valuable experience to this artist talk to help actors understand the thriving Philadelphia regional acting market-how it works, and how it can help propel them to create the acting career that they want.  The Philadelphia regional market is a hotbed for local/national commercials, corporate and film.  She will also talk about how the industry is responding and adjusting to a virtual world and will share valuable insider tips and tricks to help actors navigate this new casting environment.  This session is ideal for the beginning actor looking for industry advice or for the more seasoned actor who is looking to expand their career goals.

This virtual workshop is part of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts’ Adult Enrichment Workshop Series, a program of enrichment workshops that is open to the public.  The program operates as a fundraising initiative for the school.  All proceeds benefit the school.
