Shawn DeVault, or “Mr. Shawn,” as is he commonly known at Charter Arts, has been at Charter Arts for over five years. While working in the front office, Shawn made it a priority to provide a great first impression as well as top-notch service to students, parents, and other visitors. Shawn moved into his current role as a paraprofessional about two years later, where he continues to serve students in the special education department with the care, diligence, and professionalism for which he has become known.
On any given day, you can find Shawn in various locations in the building, responding to the areas of greatest need with his flexibility and expertise. Shawn’s many credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Education, 10 years experience in various areas of the special education field and over 13 years working with kids with disabilities in recreation settings.
