Diane Wagner Dobrowolski received a B.A. in English from DeSales University and an M.F.A in Acting from Louisiana State University. She has worked professionally as an actress for many years. As a member of Actor’s Equity, Mrs. Wagner performed in numerous productions across the country. Some of her favorite roles include Kate in Dancing at Lughnasa, Portia in The Merchant of Venice, the Angel in Angels in America, and Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew. Mrs. Wagner had the privilege to perform at the Kennedy Center as Martha in LSU’s award-winning production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf as part of the American College Theatre Festival.
She’s taught acting at Louisiana State University, DeSales University, Northampton Community College, The William Reynolds Agency in Atlanta and Image Model and Talent Agency in Allentown. As a member of Circle of Stones Ritual Theatre Ensemble, she performed in the world premier of The New Earth and collaborated with the ensemble to write Gilgamesh. She played Woman in The Play About the Baby and Maureen in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, with Particle Theatre. In 2014, Diane wrote, produced and starred in Goody Goody, a spec pilot in which she plays Goody Werkheiser. Her most recent credit is Mary in the film Getting Grace. Mrs. Wagner has been at Charter Arts since the first day it opened in 2003.
