Dr. Wargo has been the psychologist at Charter Arts since the inaugural year. When the school first opened, she was originally supposed to complete 2 evaluations and then return to her other employment obligations.
At that time if you asked, Dr. Wargo would emphatically tell you that she loves and prefers working with preschool and elementary age children and had no intention of working at a high school level. The rest is history. Dr. Wargo completed those 2 evaluations and never left Charter Arts. She has also drastically changed her tune about where prefers to work. If you asked her today, Dr. Wargo would say that Charter Arts is the most amazing school she has ever been to. She admires the staff and the amount of talent and expertise they bring into their classrooms every day. As for the students, they are smart, talented and unique. They truly make Charter Arts special and create an environment unlike any other school.
Dr. Wargo will also be the first to admit that unlike the rest of the staff, she has no talent whatsoever. She is a good cook and thats about it! She earned her B.A. degree in Psychology and a minor in Communications from Cedar Crest College. She earned a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and her School Psychologist Certification from Marywood University. She also holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Wargo is currently pursuing a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Neuropsychology.
Dr. Wargo is proud to be a part of the Charter Arts community and hopes to continue to learn and grow with the school. She currently lives in Northampton County with her Alaskan Malamutes Sadie, Dakotah and Mushka whom she loves more than anything! Sadly enough, even her dogs are more talented than she is!!!
