2019 Gala of Dreams

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) will hold its sixteenth-annual Gala of Dreams on Saturday, May 18, 2019, and will be held at the Factory, LLC (located behind Charter Arts on Columbia Street).  Ticket information will be available soon!   This is Charter Arts’ largest fundraiser of the year, and we hope you can join us.

Last year’s Gala of Dreams was held at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.  This elegant and fun evening included a silent auction and cocktail hour with the sounds of the Charter Arts Big Band, then guests enjoyed a formal dinner, live auction, dancing, and a jam-packed line-up of entertainment and surprises throughout the night.

2018 Gala of Dreams’ Major Sponsor was PNC Bank. The Silver Curtain Sponsor was the Lawrence Family. Table sponsors included:  Fitzpatrick, Lentz & Bubba, Cornerstone Consulting Engineers & Architectural, Inc., Highmark Blue Shield, Magellan Financial, Inc., John Hratko, MD, Miller Virtual Construction, LLC, Sands Bethlehem, and West Park Civic Association.

The  event was masterfully emceed by Charter Arts’ Director of Literary Arts,  Paul Walsh, and the evening’s entertainment included the sounds of the Charter Arts Big Band, the Charter Arts Funk Band and a tribute performance by Charter Arts alumnus, Christian Porter (of Porter & Sayles, NBC’s The Voice).

The event designer was Dave Reppert of Wishes Entertainment & Event Design, a division of Boscov’s. This year’s media sponsor was WLVT-PBS-39.

Proceeds from the event benefited the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts and the Charter Arts Foundation.

Cocktail hour was filled with the sounds of the Charter Arts Big Band.

The Charter Arts Funk Band had guests kicking up their heels on the dance floor!
