Shannon Crawley grew up in a microscopic borough in Northeastern, PA where she survived living with two brothers. She is currently surviving in a borough a bit south of Charter Arts with her two sets of twins, husband, and chickens. Working at Charter Arts invigorates her and inspires her to be a better teacher and person. She is excited to be the Career and College Readiness teacher in the Seminar Department as well as a Literary Arts teacher.
Shannon Crawley graduated from Muhlenberg College with her B.A. in English and certifications in Elementary and Secondary Education in 2000. She also earned her M.A. in English from Arcadia University while she was teaching in Central Bucks School District in 2006. She is a PAWLP Writing Fellow and enjoys watching students grow as writers, readers, and thinkers in risk-taking and respectful writing workshops. She resigned from teaching for some time to watch her children grow and soak up the beauty in life. She is in awe of children and the learning process. When she isn’t working, she enjoys being outdoors, watching her daughters dance and perform music, coaching any sport her children play, and playing the piano poorly.
