The Charter Arts Theatre
Our beautiful 370-seat theatre with professional quality green rooms, a beautiful lobby and box office is sure to impress your audiences. A full technical staff is available to make your production shine!
We have a wide variety of dance, theatrical and music studios available for rehearsals or workshops.
The Charter Arts Gallery
Our beautiful art gallery can be used for exhibits or events. There is an entrance directly from 3rd Street into the gallery, and there are large windows that allow plenty of natural light during the day or the city lights in the evening.
Meeting, Testing & Event Spaces
If your organization needs a place to conduct a meeting, hold a small trade show, or facilitate training or testing, we can offer a range of rooms to fit groups of all sizes. Whether it is a breakfast meeting for twelve or an afternoon training session with employees, we can accommodate your needs. Many of our rooms have beautiful views of SteelStacks or South Mountain. We can also help arrange catering for your meeting, whether you need a simple coffee station or a lunch service. A variety of music performers can also be arranged…how about a soothing guitar trio playing as guests arrive for a morning meeting or a jazz ensemble or string quartet playing for an evening event.
Technology needs are easily met with our rooms. The Commons Café, for example, offers a staging area with light board and sound system as well as a projector and screen. Classrooms include user-friendly screens to display your presentation.
The Commons Café
The Commons Café stage is a great option for a cabaret-style show. Round tables surround the staging area. During the day this venue is great for meetings or special presentations. The room can also be set up in a trade-show configuration with the stage acting as the presentation space and includes a screen and projector, plus lighting and sound board. Large windows looking out onto Polk Street, bring a vibrancy to this space during the day.
The Commons Café is also a great space for a small trade show.
