Heath Mensher has a BA in English from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Education from Kutztown University, where he became a member of the Graduate Honor Society and delivered KU’s Commencement Speech. Mr. Mensher was an active writer and filmmaker in both New York City and Los Angeles for over 20 years, and his short films have been the official selections of many Film Festivals across the country.
He was an Assistant on NBC’s “The West Wing” from 1999 to 2002, spending every day on the set at Warner Brothers (from 5am to 1am, Monday through Saturday). He has written for various publications and television shows, was a Staff Writer at MTV, and worked behind the scenes on over 40 films and television commercials. Mr. Mensher has been a songwriter and musician since he was a child, and remains active in the music scene in the Lehigh Valley. Heath has two young children and a very patient wife who are all thrilled he is a teacher at Charter Arts.
