Bickert, Kelly Minner

Kelly is a Tony Nominated Educator who has been teaching for over 2 decades. She has been at Charter Arts since it first opened and has dedicated herself to growing the Theatre Department to a premiere place for students to study and grow as well-rounded theatre artists. With a passion for directing she has directed over 20+ productions and has focused on bringing new works alive on our stages. She most recently directed The Oscars: A Conversation Among Friends and Ladies, How Dare You! both of which were world premieres. In 2023 she founded an Alumni Artist in Residence Program to continue to support alumni artists out in the world and to create opportunities for current students to network with these working artists. In her free time she enjoys acting in community theater.
