Docteroff, Rebecca

English Faculty

Rebecca Docteroff teaches 10th–12th grade English Language Arts and is a Charter Arts alumna. She holds a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Bloomsburg University, where she also minored in Dance and Linguistics, earning a Creative Movement endorsement. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.98 GPA, making the Dean’s and President’s lists every semester and earning the Outstanding Senior award in her major. Rebecca served as a Writing and Literacy Engagement tutor and choreographed for the Bloomsburg University Dance Ensemble and Bloomsburg School of Dance. She completed her student teaching in 8th grade at Shamokin Middle School. An accomplished writer with a strong foundation in analysis, Rebecca also brings years of experience as a dance instructor and choreographer. As Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa at Northampton Community College, she received the PA Coca-Cola Scholarship, covering full tuition to any state school.
