Mathews, Brett

Brett Mathews is a Production Arts faculty member with experience in theatre and video production. Prior to joining the Charter Arts team, Brett worked as the production manager at Pennsylvania Youth Theater, where he found joy in working with adolescents and helping them to find their own voices through the arts. He earned bachelor's degrees in Theatre Stage Management and Media & Communications Production from Muhlenberg College. During his time at Muhlenberg, he worked on productions in a variety of roles both on and offstage: acting in a devised piece on the main stage, managing an ever-evolving adaptation of classic texts, and working directly with playwrights on world premiere pieces. His favorite credits include his internship with Rough Magic Theatre Company in Ireland and as the aerial counterweight in a devised cirque trilogy with Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre.
