The choice to attend college is a major decision. The financing of that educational opportunity can be difficult, stressful, and/or confusing.

To that end, the Guidance Department of the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts is sponsoring a program on Monday, December 22^nd at 7 p.m. in the Choir Room:

An Evening About Scholarships and Financial Aid

for an Education Beyond High School.

We have invited Michael Burke, Higher Education Access Partner for Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) to be our guest speaker.  He plans to address the in/outs of completing the FAFSA, key vocabulary, and critical deadlines in the financial aid process.

The FAFSA is available to complete online as of January 1, 2015.  In addition, many colleges/universities require that you submit the FAFSA by a February 1^st deadline to be eligible for their institutional aid.  Therefore, we have planned this presentation to equip you with the knowledge to complete the application successfully and meet upcoming deadlines.
