Roger Brinker

Roger Brinker is a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Joining the Charter Arts Visual Arts Department in 2005, he teaches foundation drawing and figure drawing, sculpture, and contracted study.

For fifteen years, Mr. Brinker worked at UGI Utilities Inc as the display department manager, producing trade show exhibits and designing retail showrooms and displays. Concurrently, he has been an associate and instructor in classical drawing and design at the Barnstone Studios in Coplay, PA. From 2001 – 2006, he taught at Lehigh University and helped to develop the Design Arts program.

Roger advised student design teams for the Lehigh University Integrated Product Development program in the design, fabrication, and testing of new products for companies such as Ingersoll-Rand, L’Oreal, and Lehigh Valley Hospital. In addition, he has taught portfolio design, drawing, and three-dimensional design at Moravian College and Northampton Community College.

Mr. Brinker was a speaker at the 2005 National Endowment for the Humanities Institute on Bach, held at Moravian College. He lectured and conducted a seminar workshop devoted to The Golden Section in Math and the Arts.
