Charter Arts is an audition-based public charter school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for high school students, grades 9-12, who have a passion for the arts. Students major in one of seven artistic areas: dance, instrumental music, literary arts, production arts, theatre, visual arts, or vocal music.
Any high school student, entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, who resides in Pennsylvania, is eligible to audition. Prospective students & their families are invited to learn more about Charter Arts through attending our next Admissions Open House event. You will tour the school with a student ambassador as a guide, then you will attend a presentation to learn about Charter Arts’ rigorous curriculum and admissions process. Lastly, you will have the option to attend two 30-minute breakout information sessions with directors of our artistic departments- you will choose to attend one or two of these sessions depending on how many artistic departments are of interest to your child.
