Greg Funfgeld Family Concert – Dancing with Bach! 

Sunday, February 18 at 3 PM – Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University
“Looking for Liebe in all the Wrong Nests,” is choreographed by Jennifer Dite Weaver and set to 11 selections from Johannes Brahms Liebeslider Waltzes.  The Dance will be performed by a group of 9th and 10th grade dance majors from the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts who are costumed as quirky birds that are looking for love through various feathered friend adventures.  The lyrics of each waltz are sung in German, so Weaver created her choreography to correlate with the translation of each song to spark the audience’s creative imaginations through the art of dance.
