Dr. Emily Hornyak DAT, LAT, ATC graduated with her Clinical Doctorate in Athletic Training from Moravian University in August of 2021. She obtained her Masters in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University in 2017 and two Bachelors in Science of Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2015. She is a Licensed Athletic Trainer via the PA State Board of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also a Certified Athletic Trainer through The Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer. She is also a Certified CPR/AED and First Aid instructor through the American Health Association. She has a high level of arts experience after being a dancer for 18 years. She was part of the Marching Pride at Slippery Rock University. She also participated in theater productions, both as an actor and in production and design technician, choirs, took visual arts courses, and is an avid consumer of novels and writes poetry. She is Employed by St. Luke’s University health network and is working to educate network wide physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists about Performing Arts Medicine.
