Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts - The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts

This special Songwriter’s Cafe will be the showcase and awards presentation for the first-ever Charter Arts/Godfrey Daniels Songwriting Competition. Eleven students submitted works in February that have been judged by a panel of local songwriters and performers. The students will perform the songs they submitted to the competition in a showcase in concert and the awards will be announced at the close of the evening. First prize is a brand new DSS-17 Martin Guitar, second prize is a used Tacoma Guitar and and third prize is a recording session with Freestone Production and Jason Reif who is the audio engineer at Godfrey Daniels. We are excited to offer our music students this opportunity and are hoping this is an annual tradition.
