The Charter Arts 2023 Commencement Ceremony was held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Baker Hall located in Lehigh University’s Zoellner Arts Center. The Charter Arts Class of 2023 consists of 142 graduates. Collectively, the class has earned grants and scholarships for post-secondary education totaling over $5.3 million dollars.

Unlike other schools that may choose a valedictorian to speak at graduation, Charter Arts chooses two graduation speakers each year through an application process. The two graduation speakers this year were Gabrielle Joseph and Natalie Sysko.
Gabrielle Joseph, 18, of Allentown has been a Theatre major at Charter Arts and plans to attend Vanderbilt University to major in Biomedical Engineering with plans to work in medical research and to become a cardiovascular surgeon.
Natalie Sysko, 18, of Nazareth has been a Vocal Music major at Charter Arts and plans to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute to major in Data Science.
